Listed NPK Companies Operating Revenues and Profits in the First Half of 2017 Both Dropped
Main listed NPK companies such as Kingenta, Xinyangfeng, Stanley, Sierte and Batian all released half-year reports of 2017. The details of performance are as follows:
Kingenta: in the first half of 2017, operating revenues reached RMB 1,247,459.13, up 18.07% year on year; net profits stood at RMB 79,443.20, up 2.06% year on year.
Xinyangfeng: in the first half of 2017, operating revenues reached RMB 512,737.79, up 1.31% year on year; net profits registered RMB 43,047.96, down 7.90% year on year.
Stanley: in the first half of 2017, operating revenues stood at RMB 80,939.14, down 7.08% year on year; net profits reached RMB 20,435.71, down 45.88% year on year.
Sierte: in the first half of 2017, operating revenues registered RMB 101,491.49, down 27.1% year on year; net profits reached RMB 9,088.33, down 27.66%.
Batian: in the first half of 2017, operating revenues reached RMB 83,194.28, down 9.11% month on month; net profits were RMB 1,125.55, down 82.45% year on year.
As a whole, in the first half of 2017, except for Kingenta, other NPK companies’ operating performance all dropped, especially Batian saw a drop of 82.45% in net profits. The main reasons for this phenomenon are a drop in agricultural production margins, a fall in farmers’ incomes and a weak demand; fluctuations in materials prices and environmental examinations.
