As a whole, in the first half of 2017, except for Kingenta, other NPK companies’ operating performance all dropped, especially Batian saw a drop of 82.45% in net profits. The main reasons for this phenomenon are a drop in agricultural production margins, a fall in farmers’ incomes and a weak demand; fluctuations in materials prices and environmental examinations.
